Buzzfeed End of Year Celebration: Jungle Prom

This was an end of year celebration event for BuzzFeed. The end of year event is a must attend event for Buzzfeed’s staff, customers and partners. Each year, Buzzfeed hosts a fun, vibrantly themed event to celebrate the year that was and thank all stakeholders.

Forum Group was contracted with developing the concept of the theme for the event and creatively producing the elements all with a minimal budget.

The challenge
The challenge was to develop a creative theme for the event, choose a suitable venue and manage any third parties to deliver an outstanding event for our client.

The solution
After work-shopping the concept internally, the event management team developed the 2017 theme into a wild night style entitled “Party Animals”. To make this event come to life we implemented the following solutions:

  • We secured the Wild Planet zone at the Australian Museum in Sydney;
  • We designed the event theme and sourced safari themed balloon installations;
  • Engaged skilled animal face painters to interact with guests;
  • We sourced and distributed safari animal themed head band and masks;
  • We organised 1 on 1 animal experiences with koalas, python, blue tongue lizard;
  • We custom branded beer pong table with animal print cups; and
  • Donut wall themed with safari animal prints

How we made it happen
By developing a detailed project plan and budget, creating a fun and vibrant event theme and carefully selecting suppliers to match. Event services delivered:
